We’re Fran and Sue, sisters living in Ontario, Canada. We've always been close, living just a street apart, and raising our kids together.

Our passion for quality craftsmanship was passed down from our Nana, a buyer for a department store whose father was a tailor in Scotland, and our Mum, who sewed our clothes and had an entrepreneurial spirit.

Our Dad’s work ethic and craftsmanship were truly unparalleled. He led by example, showing us the value of hard work and the belief that with determination, anything can be figured out. His dedication continues to inspire us every day.

After pursuing careers in nursing and teaching, we returned to our creative roots. With over 20 years of experience each—Fran with a fashion design diploma and sewing expertise, and Sue with a background in elementary education and creative arts instruction - we bring both technical skill and teaching passion to every lesson.

Today, we’re channeling that exact blend of expertise into teaching single-needle machine embroidery - whether you’re already obsessed or just getting started! Running an embroidery business from home has given us the freedom to be there for our family, and our goal is to help you build that same flexibility for yours.
